Congratulations to Paramedic Shaun Rock and Doctor Per Bredmose who were recently announced to be the Regional Winners of the Vodafone Life Savers Awards 2007 for the London area.

Their nomination has now been put to the national judges of these prestigious awards

Capital Radio, Take II

This morning, Johnny Vaughan and the Breakfast Show Team once again featured London's Air Ambulance during the show. With Dr Anne Weaver featured in the morning news, and then a live phone interview, it was chaos in the office as our website hits skyrocketed, and donations appeared on our website and our JustGiving donations page.

We tried to be as quiet as possible as Johnny interviewed our Chief Executive Andrew Cameron about how our service helps the people of London (it's possibly the quietest the fundraising team have ever been)

We were thrilled with the positive response from listeners to the Capital Radio Breakfast Show with Johnny Vaughan this morning, following a feature on London's Air Ambulance during the show.

"I always notice that London looks so green. It is still incredibly thrilling to go up in the helicopter and I still pick out landmarks and am amazed at being able to see from this vantage point. We've pretty much landed all over the capital, but I'd love to come down in Trafalgar Square - that would be great"
